Pete Alonso Blasts 30th Homer On Monday
3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI, and a run scored in the Mets 4-3 loss to the Nationals on Monday. Alonso reached the 30 home run plateau for the second time in his career with his homer on Monday. He also now has 99 career HR. On the season, Alonso is batting a career-high .268 with a .345 on-base percentage and a .514 slugging percentage. He has 30 HR, 81 RBI, 22 doubles, and 69 runs scored over 128 games. Over his last seven games, he is also slashing a red hot .370/.400/.704 (in 27 at-bats). Alonso remains a must-start in all fantasy formats as we head down the home stretch in September.
