Jaime Barria Achieves Quality Start In Loss
3 years agoLos Angeles right-hander Jaime Barria (2-3) took the loss in Monday's 4-0 game against the Texas Rangers but still managed a quality start. He threw seven innings, allowing three runs, eight hits, and added three strikeouts to no walks. It's the second time in his eight starts this season that he's completed seven innings and the first time in his last five starts that he's gone longer than 4.1 innings. He now has a 5.16 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 45.1 IP. This start came against a weak Rangers lineup, and fantasy managers should continue to ignore Barria in every league.
