3 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney will have a tough Week 1 test against the Rams on Sunday Night Football. The second-year receiver is hoping to have a breakout campaign but posting starter's-worthy fantasy numbers Week 1 could be daunting. The Rams allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers last season and only two receivers posted more than 100 receiving yards in a game. Mooney became 'meme famous' in the offseason on a play against the Rams where he toasted cornerback Jalen Ramsey on a deep route but the ball was wildly overthrown. Internet fame aside, Mooney posted only three catches for 40 yards in that game and will carry WR4/5 status Week 1 against a tough defense.--Joey C - RotoBaller
