Clayton Kershaw Pitches Three Innings In Rehab Start
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (forearm) threw three innings in his rehab start on Tuesday with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He allowed four hits, two runs and struck out three with no walks. It was his first rehab appearance since going on the injured list on July 7. Kershaw was having another good season on the mound before the ailment, pitching to a 3.39 ERA with 127 strikeouts and just 19 walks in 106.1 innings. He's set to return to the club on Sunday and, according to manager Dave Roberts, the plan is for him to stay in the rotation. He will likely have to ease back into action and won't go deep into games, but fantasy managers will take any value they can get from the lefty.
