3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers officially listed Jimmy Garoppolo as the starting quarterback on the team's official depth chart. Trey Lance suffered a chip fracture in a finger on his throwing hand and has been sidelined for over a week. He alternated series and even snaps on particular possessions with Garoppolo throughout the preseason. Garoppolo threw for 1,096 yards and a 7:5 TD: INT ratio over six games in 2020. The 29-year-old will be the 49ers starting QB as the third overall pick of the 2021 NFL Draft Trey Lance will eventually take over at some point during the regular season. Garoppolo is more of an option in two-quarterback or Superflex leagues while he sits on top of the QB depth chart for Week 1.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
