3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton has signed a one-year extension with the organization. There was some speculation that Morton would retire this offseason, but he received a significant offer from Atlanta. The veteran right-hander will receive a one-year extension worth $20 million, which includes a club option for the 2023 season. The 37-year-old has a 3.47 ERA through 158 innings and 28 starts with the Braves this season. He has been an excellent fantasy option all season long and should remain a top tier pitching option next season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
