Curtis Samuel Begins Practice, Then Heads To Sidelines
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) joined the team at practice once again on Wednesday but then headed to the sidelines after appearing to be in some discomfort. Samuel was spotted working with trainers and getting stretched out after running some routes at the beginning of practice. This doesn't help the outlook of the 25-year-old, as he has had almost no practice time with his new team. This injury looks like it is something that may linger for a significant period of time, so the speedy wideout could be a question mark heading into Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers. With just four days to go before the season opener, Samuel could potentially be on a snap count, that is if he is even in the lineup. Fantasy managers should leave him on the bench until his role and injury status have some more clarity.
