Ravens Sign Trenton Cannon To 53-Man Roster
3 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens have signed running back Trenton Cannon to their active roster after losing J.K. Dobbins (knee) and Justice Hill (Achilles) to season-ending injuries. Cannon was signed to the 53-man roster because of his ability to play on special teams, which is a role that needed to be filled after the loss of Hill. Gus Edwards will serve as the lead back, and there are reports that Ty'Son Williams will be given an opportunity to be the No. 2 running back. Le'Veon Bell was added to the practice squad, but he figures to eventually be promoted to the active roster. So, Cannon doesn't figure to have any fantasy value because of the crowded running back room in Baltimore. He can be disregarded in all scoring formats and league sizes for now.
