Vince Velasquez Looks Good In Second Rehab Start
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies right-hander Vince Velasquez (finger) was sharp in his second rehab start, striking out nine over 3.2 innings while allowing one run on one hit and one walk. Velasquez has been out of action since late July after a blister placed him on the injured list on August 2. He should be close to returning to the Phillies, and they'll most likely continue to roll with a four-man rotation until then. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere on the waiver wire amid his comeback as he's posted a 5.95 ERA with 85 K and 45 BB over 81.2 IP.
