Curtis Samuel Misses Practice Thursday
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) missed practice again on Thursday after tweaking his pre-existing injury at the beginning portion of practice on Wednesday. Head coach Ron Rivera was hopeful that Samuel would get a full week of work ahead of their Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, but that has not been the case. The 25-year-old has an uncertain status for Sunday, so it would be best for fantasy managers to look elsewhere to fill their starting lineup. If he were to be held out of action, Dyami Brown could offer some sneaky upside as he has been described as a "big play waiting to happen." The absence of Samuel would also likely mean a bump in targets for Terry McLaurin, who is the team's clear No. 1 wide receiver.
