Patrick Mahomes Should Continue To Put Up Big Numbers In 2021
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is destined for another year as one of the best at his position this season, but will draw a tough Cleveland Browns defense in Week 1. The Browns defense was more vulnerable versus the pass than the run in 2020 with 247.6 yards allowed through the air per game, but they added edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney and spent their first-round pick on cornerback Greg Newsome II to shore up an already tough defense. Despite the Browns offseason additions and already productive defense, Mahomes and the Chiefs offense remains one of the most dangerous in the league. With offensive options such as wide receiver Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, managers should have no worries about firing up Mahomes as their QB1 this week and every week moving forward. He remains arguably the best at his position and the Chiefs should continue to get on the board plenty of times in 2021.
