Leonard Fournette A Factor In Rushing And Passing Game
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette finished Thursday's win over Dallas with nine carries for 32 yards and five receptions for 27 yards on seven targets. While not the flashiest numbers, Fournette did receive double the carries of fellow backfield mate Ronald Jones II and also chipped in for the passing game. While it is quite early to tell whether Fournette will be the lead back for this offense, Thursday's performance was encouraging as Jones only managed four rushes for 14 rushing yards. Managers will likely need to take a wait-and-see approach going forward to see if Fournette can develop consistency and distinguish himself as the lead back. The RB will look to build on his performance next week against Atlanta.
