3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's loss to the Blue Jays. Rizzo came up with a key homer in the sixth inning, tying the game with his 19th long ball of the season, which traveled 409 feet at 101.2 MPH. The former Cub endured a brief slump after returning from the COVID-19 injured list but has been very solid over the last 14 games, as he's batting .333 with 10 runs scored, three doubles, two homers, and seven RBI over that span, including a current four-game hitting streak. Rizzo has hit two homers against the Mets, his next opponent, this season.--Tim Capurso
