Tre'Quan Smith Placed On Injured Reserve
3 years agoThe New Orleans Saints have placed wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Smith dealt with an ankle injury in 2020 and his hamstring has been nagging him throughout training camp. Smith will now miss a minimum of three games. With Smith on IR and fellow pass-catcher Michael Thomas (ankle) on the PUP list, the Saints will roll with Marquez Callaway, Lil'Jordan Humphrey and Deonte Harris as their top receivers. Callaway offers the most upside of the bunch and is worth rostering in 10-team leagues. Managers could consider stashing Smith or Thomas in leagues that have IR spots, but neither is worth a bench spot at the moment.
