Joe Burrow Back For Sophomore Campaign Versus Vikings
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will begin his sophomore season against the visiting Vikings on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. Burrow was one of the league's most impactful rookies during the 2020 campaign. However, a left knee injury suffered back in November ended his year. With his first season now behind him, the former LSU Tiger has plenty of upside against Minnesota in Week 1, primarily with Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon on the offensive side of the ball. Burrow will probably be throwing a ton again this year, and the Vikings' secondary shouldn't give him any issues. Nonetheless, the signal-caller has a high ceiling for the opener, so he should be starting for managers playing in 12-team formats and beyond or in Superflex leagues.
