3 years agoKyle Larson nearly pulled off one of the craziest moves of the year last week at Darlington. He narrowly missed out on a win by less than a 1/4 of a second. This week, he gets the pole at Richmond. The Hendricks Motorsports Racing driver has won here before in 2017. He has finished 1st, 7th, and 6th in his previous three summer races on the short track. The No. 5 driver wants to do better than his 18th place spring finish where he ended up two laps down after several problems with his car. Again, he likely will have one of the fastest package cars out there. The way Larson drives shows he is not afraid to do most anything to win. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
