Corey LaJoie Long Shot Chance at Top 15 Result
3 years agoCorey LaJoie has shown over the past several weeks that he can achieve some decent place differential. Since Pocono that has been the case and LaJoie's gained 10, 17, and 10 positions respectively in the past three races he has finished. That was despite a late crash at Daytona. The No. 7 car could thrive at Richmond. In the Spring race, LaJoie had a place differential of +15 as he finished 21st. He does have a faster car with a little more downforce than it appears. That is why a top-15 result is not out of the realm of possibility. Again, some things have to break right. However, LaJoie has shown that he can work with a lesser car.
