3 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Nola isn't in the starting lineup on Saturday for a matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers and right-hander Walker Buehler. The 31-year-old is batting .262 with a .339 on-base percentage and one home run in 165 plate appearances this season. Instead, the Padres will turn to Victor Caratini behind the plate for Saturday's game. Caratini is hitting eighth on Saturday. The 27-year-old is batting .218 with a .303 on-base percentage, six home runs, and a pair of stolen bases in 310 plate appearances.
