3 years agoThe Tennessee Titans have placed kicker Sam Ficken (groin) on injured reserve with a groin injury. Ficken was claimed off waivers in August from the New York Jets and would go on to win the kicker job. He was limited in practice on Friday and will now miss at least the first three weeks of the season. Replacing Ficken as the Titans kicker will be former Los Angeles Charger Michael Badgley. Badgley spent his time in camp with the Chargers, but was a roster casualty during final cuts. The former Charger had a rough 2020 season and was 24-for-33 in field attempts with three missed extra points. The Titans face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, but Badgley is as shaky as they come at his position and managers should look elsewhere on Sunday.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
