James McCann Belts 10th Homer Of Season
3 years agoNew York Mets catcher James McCann went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, three RBI, two runs scored, and a walk in the Mets 8-7 loss to the Yankees on Saturday evening. Despite the big night, it has been a disappointing season for McCann following his 2020 campaign in which he posted a .289/.360/.536 slash line to go with seven home runs and 15 RBI in just 111 plate appearances with the Chicago White Sox. On the season, McCann owns a .240/.303/.368 slash line, with 10 home runs, 40 RBI, and 24 runs scored in 105 games (329 at-bats). McCann does not hold much fantasy value and, in that regard, can be left on the bench and/or waiver wires in most formats at this point.
