Keenan Allen Reaches 100 Yards In Week 1
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen opened his season on a high note by catching nine of his 13 targets for 100 yards. Allen had excellent chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert in 2020 and that has carried over into 2021. The Chargers top receiver sealed a victory for his team with his nine-yard catch in the fourth quarter for a first down and that would lead to the team calling three kneels to run out the clock. It's a good sign that Allen performed against a tough defense and things will get much easier against a weak Dallas Cowboys secondary in Week 2. With the connection that he has developed with Herbert and the consistency that he provides for managers, Allen can be considered a WR1 moving forward.
