Jalen Guyton Looks Like No. 3 Receiver In Week 1
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Jalen Guyton caught three of his five targets for 49 yards in a Week 1 victory versus the Washington Football Team. The speedy wide receiver was in a competition with rookie Josh Palmer and Tyron Johnson for the No. 3 spot this offseason and it appears he won that battle with Johnson being cut and Palmer only getting one target this afternoon. Guyton is known as a field stretcher and managers should consider keeping an eye on him in deeper leagues, especially with No. 2 wide receiver Mike Williams having a long history of injuries. Guyton will face a weak Dallas Cowboys secondary in Week 2, but it is best advised to see him put together some consistency before starting him.
