Jared Cook Hauls In Five Passes In Week 1
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook caught five of his eight targets for 56 yards in a Week 1 victory versus the Washington Football Team. Cook made his debut with his new team and looked to fit in right away. The Chargers lost tight end Hunter Henry to the New England Patriots this offseason, but Cook figures to play a similar role in the offense and should be able help managers that are looking for a cheaper option at the tight end position. The Chargers are expected to have a strong offense this season and Cook should be able to put up respectable numbers in 10-team leagues. Next up for Cook will be a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 and he will be a low-end TE1 in that contest.
