3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith scored his first NFL touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Smith operated as the clear WR1 in his first NFL game, drawing a team-leading eight targets, catching six passes for 71 yards and a score. His touchdown came on an 18-yard pass from quarterback Jalen Hurts in the first quarter. Smith was the first read for Hurts and most plays, and he could have some monster games ahead of him if the play calling follows this pattern for the rest of the season. The rookie is a solid WR2 as long as the Philly offense keeps clicking.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
