Zach Wilson Finishes Strong In NFL Debut
3 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson took the field for the first time against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. Sadly, the Jets offensive line gave Wilson no help as he was sacked six times in this one. It doesn't help that tackle Mekhi Becton (knee) exited with what looks like an MCL injury. Despite that, Wilson made the most of his chances, especially in the second half. He completed 20-of-37 passing attempts for 258 yards and two touchdowns with one interception in the loss. It's going to take time for Wilson to develop chemistry with his teammates. Fantasy managers should consider Wilson a low-end QB2 for Week 2.
