3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appeared in his first game since sustaining a season-ending knee injury in November of 2020. The sophomore signal-caller looked good, too, finishing with 261 yards and two touchdowns during the overtime victory over Minnesota. Despite facing constant pressure from the Vikings defense, taking five sacks on the afternoon, he still completed over 74 percent of his passes. Burrow even helped former collegiate teammate Ja'Marr Chase rack up his first career trip to the end zone, connecting with the rookie on a 50-yard scoring pass late in the second quarter. It didn't take long for the 24-year-old to silence those who believed he wasn't ready to return. Still, it is only one game, and he still has a lot to prove, although his fantasy stock will undoubtedly increase heading into the Week 2 contest against the Chicago Bears.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
