Joe Mixon Sees A Hefty Workload In Week 1
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon had a fantastic afternoon during the overtime win over the Minnesota Vikings. The former Sooner had 29 carries, finishing with 127 yards and a touchdown, punching in a two-yard run halfway through the third quarter. He also caught all four of his targets and appeared to be back in total health after missing nearly all of last season with a foot ailment. Many had a feeling that Mixon could flourish with an enhanced offensive line and the departure of Giovani Bernard. However, he surpassed expectations by far in this one. Nonetheless, he may continue to get plenty of chances to make some noise on the fantasy end and should remain a must-start option in Week 2 against Chicago.
