3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis was the clear No. 1 option during the Week 1 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The Jets were without Jamison Crowder (COVID), so Davis was their main option on offense. He hauled in five of his seven targets for 97 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Fantasy managers are certainly happy with this performance, but they shouldn't get too excited. The Jets are going to have to do a better job protecting quarterback Zach Wilson going forward. Assuming they protect Wilson, then Davis should be a fine WR2 for next week.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
