Carlos Carrasco With Uneven Start Against Yankees
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco went five innings, allowing two earned runs on three hits and four walks in the Mets 7-6 win over the Yankees on Sunday. Carrasco did manage to strike out five batters, but the walks added to his pitch count, resulting in his only going five innings for the second start in a row. He did not factor into the decision. Though he has had a rocky shortened season, over his last four starts Carrasco has a 3.22 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and a 19:6 K:BB ratio in 22 1/3 IP. Carrasco should continue to be active on fantasy rosters through the remainder of the season. His next scheduled start will be against the Phillies at home on Saturday.
