3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle joined some elite company in Sunday's 22-7 loss to the Blue Jays, going 2-for-5 with a single, a solo home run, and a strikeout. The third-inning bomb was Mountcastle's 28th HR of the season and tied Cal Ripken Jr.'s record for the most HR hit by an O's rookie. The 24-year-old has been a huge fantasy asset after some early-season struggles and is now slashing .264/.316/.498 with 79 RBI. He is pushing to win AL Rookie of the Year and has helped plenty of fantasy teams make the playoffs.
