3 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet caught five passes for 42 yards in the Bears 34-14 blowout loss to the Rams in Week 1. Kmet was active in the underneath passing game, racking up seven targets in the contest. Kmet could have had a huge gain on a crucial fourth-down play but veteran Andy Dalton missed him on a crossing route that left the tight end wide open. The results weren't especially exciting from a fantasy perspective but Kmet's active role in the offense should bode well for future success in the weeks to come.--Joey C - RotoBaller
