Jerry Jeudy Out 4-6 Weeks
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) will be sidelined for four to six weeks after sustaining a high ankle sprain in Week 1 against the New York Giants. Fantasy managers can potentially breathe a sigh of relief because the sophomore stud has dodged a significant injury. The 22-year-old had the look of a potential breakout candidate this season, and he was impressive in his limited action on Sunday. In Jeudy's absence, Courtland Sutton is the clear No. 1 wide receiver in the offense, with Tim Patrick and KJ Hamler behind him on the depth chart. Tight end Noah Fant should be in for an increase in targets with this news, so he can remain a lower-end TE1 with a more promising outlook. For now, Jeudy's undeniable talent means he should be stashed on benches until he is able to return to action.
