Michael Brantley Could Return, DH On Friday
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley (knee) could return to the lineup on Friday as a designated hitter against the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks, manager Dusty Baker told the media on Tuesday. The 34-year-old veteran exited last Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels with discomfort in his right knee and has been considered day-to-day. Brantley is having a solid enough season, slashing .315/.367/.441 with eight home runs, 45 RBI, and 68 runs scored on 143 hits. Fantasy managers should keep an eye out for updates as Friday's game approaches.
