3 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria isn't starting Tuesday night's game against the San Diego Padres and right-hander Jake Arrieta. Longoria is batting .293 with a .391 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and a stolen base in 233 plate appearances this season. Kris Bryant is hitting sixth and starting at third base against Arrieta. While Longoria is getting the day off on Tuesday, he has started five of San Francisco's last six games. As long as he's starting regularly for the Giants, the veteran will be a quality option for fantasy managers down the stretch.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
