3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, and four RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 win over Cleveland. Jeffers ripped a 103.5 MPH two-run double in the fourth inning, then belted a 426-foot, two-run blast to extend the Twins lead in the sixth. The young backstop needed a performance like that, as he was 0-for-9 with five strikeouts heading into the contest. Jeffers' plate discipline leaves a bit to be desired, as does his .212 batting average, though he's shown promising power potential with 13 homers and an impressive 13.3 percent barrel rate. He's a nice catcher to roster in dynasty formats.--Tim Capurso
