Jared Cook Has Favorable Matchup In Week 2
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook will look to build off of a solid performance in Week 1 with a matchup versus the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. The Cowboys defense got torched for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Rob Gronkowski in Week 1. Cook was targeted eight times by quarterback Justin Herbert in his first start with the Chargers and was able to haul in five passes for 56 yards. The veteran should continue to be a solid contributor at the tight end position, but he will be competing with running back Austin Ekeler and wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams for targets. Week 2 should be a high scoring affair and Cook should be considered a fringe TE1 in 10-team leagues this weekend.
