Chase Claypool A Boom/Bust WR3 In Week 2
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool turned in a quiet outing by his standards in a Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills as he caught just three passes for 45 yards. The talented second-year wideout should be able to find more room to operate in a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2. Las Vegas was generous to opposing wide receivers in 2020 and continued that trend against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, allowing both Sammy Watkins and Marquise Brown to have good outings. Claypool has some boom/bust potential in a crowded pass-catching corps in Pittsburgh but he also has multi-touchdown upside whenever he takes the field. Start him as a solid WR3 in Week 2.
