Antonio Gibson Rushes For 69 Yards
3 years agoWashington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson carried the ball 13 times for 69 yards and added two receptions for four yards against the New York Giants on Thursday night. The sophomore got a touchdown opportunity taken away by J.D. McKissic, so this ultimately led to him having a quiet night for fantasy managers. Gibson dealt with a shoulder injury leading up to Week 2, so it shouldn't be a surprise that his workload was a bit lighter than usual considering it was a short week. Going forward, he should be averaging closer to the 20 carries that he handled in Week 1. The 23-year-old is still a rock-solid RB1 and should see some more opportunities in Week 3 against the Buffalo Bills.
