3 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Austin Nola isn't in Saturday's lineup for a matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals and right-handed starter Adam Wainwright. Nola is hitting .267 with a .339 on-base percentage and a home run in 186 plate appearances this season. He'll head to the bench with Victor Caratini getting the start instead on Saturday. Caratini is batting eighth against Wainwright. In 318 plate appearances this season, the 27-year-old is batting .212 with a .299 on-base percentage, six home runs, and two stolen bases.
