D'Andre Swift Should Be Good For Week 2
3 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (groin) should be good to go for the Week 2 clash against the Packers. The sophomore continues to be plagued by a nagging groin ailment. However, after he practiced fully on Friday and head coach Dan Campbell indicated he is "fine," he should see the field, although he'll likely continue to carry the questionable designation leading up to the contest. Nonetheless, Swift has plenty of upside, although he may split carries again with Jamaal Williams, who had a team-high 54 yards and a touchdown off nine carries in Week 1 against the Niners. Still, Swift should remain classified as a starting option against Green Bay, despite his ongoing battle with the injury.
