3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien launched his 40th homer of the season on Saturday, helping his club defeat the Twins 6-2. His solo shot off Bailey Ober in the fourth got the scoring started for his club in what became a four-run frame, although it was his only hit of the contest as he went 1-for-5. The 31-year-old is having one of the best offensive seasons across the majors this season with 95 RBI, 106 runs, 15 SB, and a .268/.338/.539 slash line through 148 games played.
