Kyle Freeland Shuts Down The Nationals
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland earned the win on Saturday when he allowed seven hits with one walk and seven strikeouts across six scoreless innings in a 6-0 win over the Nationals. Freeland was locked in for Saturday's tilt against the Nats. He scattered seven hits and only really ran into trouble in his final inning but was able to wiggle out of the jam. The stellar outing gives the 28-year-old left-hander a 4.50 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 97:33 K/BB ratio over 108 innings (21 starts) on the season. He'll take on the Giants at home in his next turn, which should be a difficult start for fantasy purposes.
