3 years agoChicago Cubs' second baseman Nico Hoerner (oblique) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He has been sidelined since July with a right oblique strain after slashing .319/.388/.388 with three steals, 14 RBI, and 13 runs scored over 39 games this season. The 24-year-old is a speculative add in the final two weeks of the regular season as Hoerner will have an everyday second base role.
