3 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano pitched a clean ninth inning on Sunday to close out his team's 5-3 victory against the Twins in the series finale. The right-hander's only blemish in his appearance was a two-out hit-by-pitch, but it was an otherwise easy 10-pitch frame to record his 19th save of the year. Romano picked up one strikeout on the afternoon to push his season total to 76 through 58 innings, and he also lowered his ERA to 2.33 and his WHIP to 1.03. It's been a solid statistical year for the 28-year-old in his second year as the Jays closer, since he's also notched seven wins with just one blown save. The only qualm fantasy managers may have is with his relatively low save total.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
