Brandon Brooks Headed To Injured Reserve
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles offensive guard Brandon Brooks (chest) will miss several weeks and is being placed on the injured reserve list with a pectoral muscle strain. It was initially feared that it was a full muscle tear, but this injury is not considered to be season-ending. Landon Dickerson played 33 snaps in his absence, and he will likely be the starter next Monday night when the Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys. The loss of Brooks could lead to Miles Sanders seeing some smaller running lanes, but the fantasy value of the former Penn State standout shouldn't be changed drastically. As for Jalen Hurts, a downgrade at the offensive line position is not an ideal scenario for a quarterback, but his rushing ability should make up for any trouble he has as a passer.
