3 years agoLooking to make another push toward a UFC light heavyweight title shot, Anthony Smith earned an impressive first-round submission win over 11th-ranked Ryan Spann in Saturday's main event. After a left hand dropped Spann for the second time in the contest, Smith took advantage of his fallen foe and locked in a rear-naked choke for the win just 3:47 into the first round of action. Ranked sixth in the light heavyweight division, there are not many more places for Smith to go. A showdown with one of the big guns in the division is all that's left.
