Nico Collins Expected To Miss 3-4 Weeks
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (shoulder) is expected to miss three to four weeks after sustaining a shoulder injury in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie caught two passes for 39 yards in his first two games and could have been in line for an increased role as the season progressed. This likely means that Chris Conley and Anthony Miller will see some increased playing time in his absence, but not significant enough to warrant any fantasy appeal in standard-sized leagues. Brandin Cooks will remain the only fantasy relevant receiver, as quarterback Tyrod Taylor (hamstring) has gravitated towards him. Cooks has been targeted 21 times through the first two games. With this news, Collins can be left on the waiver wire until he proves to be a reliable option upon his return to the lineup.
