3 years agoTampa Bay Rays second baseman Brandon Lowe isn't starting on Monday against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Rays will take on Toronto left-hander Robbie Ray but will do so with Lowe on the bench. The 26-year-old is batting .235 with a .333 on-base percentage, 34 home runs, and seven stolen bases in 571 plate appearances this season. Instead, Tampa Bay will start Joey Wendle at second against Toronto. Wendle, who is hitting sixth on Monday, is batting .271 with a .323 on-base percentage, 10 home runs, and seven stolen bases in 465 plate appearances this year. In most matchups, he'd be a quality streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues. However, given the matchup with Robbie Ray, you're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
