3 years agoHouston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve isn't starting on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Jaime Barria. Altuve is hitting .278 with a .354 on-base percentage, 28 home runs and four stolen bases in 627 plate appearances this season. Marwin Gonzalez will get the start at second base in Altuve's place against the Angels. The veteran is batting .198 with a .275 on-base percentage, four home runs and three stolen bases in 288 plate appearances this season. He's batting seventh on Monday night.
