Jaime Barria Solid In Blowout
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jaime Barria (2-4) pitched well for 5 1/3 innings on Monday night in the 10-0 loss to the Houston Astros. He worked around 10 hits, giving up two runs and no walks while striking out five. In the end, he was the losing pitcher after the bullpen surrendered eight runs. Barria hasn't been good over 12 appearances this season, posting a 4.77 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and a poor 14.4 strikeout percentage while going at least five innings in just five of his 10 starts. He offers no value and should be left on the waiver wire in every format.
